Project Overview

Packiyo is a very simple warehouse management system that you can use via a browser, mobile device, or desktop app! Packiyo, based in Norway, is a leading warehouse management system that assists customers in maintaining control of their e-commerce warehouse while focusing on growing their business. A few designers, marketing managers, and project managers had worked directly with the client to achieve the best results. We spent 3 months on research and discovery, creating wireframes, a design system, and a general UI vision. To make it easier to understand how to work with the system, we also provided a clickable prototype.

The Challenge

Our mission was to create a very simple user experience so that the user can easily manage their orders, pack them, control their inventory, and get products quickly salable again with the return functions. The product existed only as an idea, so our challenge was to turn the idea into reality from start to finish.

The Solution

In result, warehouse management system is the accessible and convenient with a clean and intuitive interface. We have an uncluttered and simple design of the internal system, which is a pleasure to work with. We managed to highlight all the most important features such as possibility to manage orders, shipments and returns as well as simplify the process of working with own inventory, thus reducing the time spent by the user on its preparation.

Our Process

The design process of a project typically involves four stages: discovery, design, delivery, and follow-up. Here is a quick description of each stage.

Discovery

In the discovery stage, the project scope is defined and the goals and objectives of the project are established. This stage involves conducting research, gathering requirements, and identifying any potential challenges and constraints.

Design

In the design stage, the solution is developed and a detailed plan is created to guide the implementation of the project. This stage involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate the solution to stakeholders.

Delivery

In the delivery stage, the project is implemented and the solution is delivered to the customer. This stage involves executing the plan, testing the solution.
